biasanya, puisi2 frost subject.nya universal; memakai kata2 sederhana tapi memiliki simbol ttg kehidupan. Coba:

Mungkin, Frost di situ menekankan pada sesuatu yg kongkrit/nyata. kan ada 2 jalan, yg pertama imagenya itu ada di baris terakhir bait pertama ..Undergrowth dan yg kedua baris ketiga bait kedua ...grassy and wanted wear; jadi di kalimat in leaves no step had trodden back itu, ditekankan bahwa memang ia memilih jalan yg pertama, yg jarang sekali dilewati dan/atau ia memilih jalan hidup yg jarang dipilih orang2
